Your role at Baxter

As a Sr Financial Analyst, FP&A at Baxter, you will play a crucial role in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. You will act as an extension of the business teams and collaborate closely with in-country finance and business partners within the Clusters and Global FP&A!

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate closely with in-country business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets, and historical results. Load budget and forecast adjustments into the system.

• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget/strategic plan preparation. Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including budget vs. actual results and variances.

• Partner with FP&A Regional, Local, and corporate resources within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to drive decision-making and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

• Identify and address partner concerns and issues, working with Finance leadership to mitigate potential business and operational risks.

• Perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision-making. Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed.

• Support Finance leadership with operational improvement, policy development, and critical initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional leads to build budgets, forecasts, and management reports while ensuring compliance with quality/control requirements.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in financial planning and reporting, accounting, and financial analysis.

• Authority in technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements, accounting principles, relevant business environment, financial modeling skills, and statistical modeling techniques.

• English C1 or higher.

• Expert in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent social, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos is helpful.
