Your role at Baxter:

This position is responsible for managing process governance and ensuring data integrity for supplier master data. This position will be responsible for defining and implementing policies and procedures for managing data, including data quality and data security. The Data Operator will be responsible for performing the process of collecting, storing, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information of the suppliers.

Your team:

Our Vendor Master Team is responsible for managing and maintaining the database of all suppliers and vendors that Baxter Healthcare works with! This includes creating, updating, and deleting vendor records, as well as ensuring that all vendor information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with relevant regulations.

Key Duties:

  • We handle supplier master database(s) for all 3rd party suppliers across all regions of Baxter.
  • Crafting and maintaining supplier records in a timely manner as well as manage supplier data and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • We support data quality checks and data audits and data cleansing periodically.
  • We participate in user acceptance testing for new system improvements and implementations, system maintenance, approval flows and integrations.
  • Run the daily activities and ensure continuous improvement and development of the process.
  • We participate in trainings to ensure customer compliance to data governance policies and best practices
  • Documentation – Creation and maintenance of guidelines, training materials and SOP’s.
  • We ensure all services provided comply with current SLA’s and S-Ox Compliance.
  • Drive and /or participate in projects related to improvements initiatives for processes.
  • Prepare any metric report for management and others when requested

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 - 4 years’ relevant business experience in Procurement or Supply Chain field.
  • Strong solid understanding in Supplier Management standard methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes and systems.
  • Experience with Master Data systems SharePoint / Syndigo/JDE/GME/ MAXIMO will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to manage diverse customer interests and expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a Global environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Proven history of managing sophisticated master data initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong capacity to work through diverse challenges with a calm and thoughtful approach.
  • Demonstrate leadership when collaborating with others. Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening skills, are at the foundation of all good relationships and a pre-requisite to be successful in this role.
