Our plant in Bielefeld is a crucial part of our operations, specializing in the manufacture of highly potent, non-sterile oncology drugs. With a tradition dating back to the 1920s, Bielefeld has positioned itself as a world leader in the manufacture of cytotoxic drugs. With around 50 dedicated employees, the Bielefeld site plays a central role in the manufacture of life-saving oncology drugs.
We are currently looking for a Senior Specialist Supply Chain (m/f/d) for our pharmaceutical production site in Bielefeld.
Your tasks:
Manage, lead and conduct all API planning activities
Procure API to CMO suppliers to ensure they can produce and procure the required FG at the right time
Accountable for financial forecasting for API and RM, in collaboration with the Buyer
Manage Customer Service specialists: support the team for their day to day activities, oversight and approval of paperwork as well as Customs related activities
Accountable for end-to-end finished goods and API planning for a specific range of products sourced from Baxter Bielefeld and 3rd party manufacturing suppliers
Generate & transmit 3rd party FG purchase orders and procurement plans and collaborate with operational execution teams to manage exceptions & alerts.
Ensure inventory availability across the distribution network by defining and/or approving the inventory parameters and determining and controlling the distribution plan
Generate & transmit FG and API distribution plans (DRP) and collaborate with operational execution teams to manage exceptions & alerts
Monitor performance across the network, investigate challenges or risks and work collaboratively with operational teams to simulate potential resolution options and improve performance
Proactively communicate and manage potential supply or demand issues that could negatively impact service level, cash flow or cost
Support the global SI&OP process through escalation of performance, opportunities and risks
In conjunction with the Inventory Analyst, define inventory policy and manage inventory performance in line with defined target levels
Be back-up for the Network planner accountable for Simtra finished goods portfolio
Requirements:
Education Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years related experience
Field of expertise: Supply Chain / Logistics / Customs Functional/specific competencies
In-depth understanding of all aspects of end to end supply chain and how we interact with other functions
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes. Creates tools that help simplify job tasks and shares these with others
Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations Strong negotiation skills required Drives results through team leadership and self

Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought
Capable to translating complex supply chain challenges into simple communication understood by our partners
Able to deal with ambiguity
