Your Role at Baxter

You have deep knowledge of and experience with manufacturing processes. You understand the importance of building relationships, establishing order, and maintaining clear communication channels. You also appreciate the stability of a large multinational company with a long history of growth and success!

This position is responsible for regulatory compliance (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations - FMCSRs) oversight, shipment and payroll administration, distribution operations support for the Baxter fleet and distribution operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review completed load boards from warehouse operations; Update & process load manifests in JDE to create trip packets for customer delivery

  • Update & maintain driver qualification files, analyze data to report compliance of company policies, state/federal laws of all drivers; prepare monthly reports; provide analysis and recommendations with resulting data within reports

  • Review driver trip records; Key payroll data accurately into payroll system; scan documentation for electronic archiving

  • Provide cross-functional support to dispatch supervisor ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreement

  • Provide cross-functional support for material control analyst, to include inventory analysis, cycle counting, NCMR support, order-processing support

  • Review current Job Instructions (JI) & Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for accuracy to current job functions/activity; Update to match current state

  • Maintain files, retrieving information as required by company policy, state laws, or federal laws.

  • Compose and type correspondence, reports and presentations, with appropriate follow-up to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

  • May be responsible for computing and processing company expenses and reimbursements and/or payroll calculations.

  • Maintain engagement file, itineraries and calendar of events.

  • Make travel accommodations and reservations.

  • Perform other office functions such as answering phones, ordering office supplies, and looking up proof of deliveries.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

  • Three to five years of experience within logistics.

  • Demonstrate excellent organization skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and initiative.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop functional knowledge of Hill-Rom products/services.

  • Exceptionally strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Competence with business software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word as minimum)

  • Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $36,800 - $54,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
