The Consultant IT will be a strategic partner and business relationship manager to WWM and Regulatory Affairs leadership teams. This partnership will enable the function to achieve its goals, drive the greatest leverage of our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Baxter’s leadership position in the market.  
To be successful, this IT consultant must engage with the leaders to build digital and technology understanding in the leadership team while collaborating on business strategies and outcomes to ensure the technology suite and roadmap will deliver the required business value. 
This role will act as a point of contact for their business partners and be accountable for IT stakeholders’ relationship to ensure alignment across IT functions and process fluency.

Responsibilities 
•    Develop value propositions and business cases based on customer and business needs
•     Be a strategic partner and advisor to the business by leveraging best resources inside and outside the organization to make the right technology decisions for respective functions. 
•    Single point of contact for IT, partnering across various IT functions, including solution, data and analytics, and technical delivery to ensure the end-end solution is delivered
•    Demonstrate business knowledge and support the project deliverables to ensure business needs are met.
•    Conduct interviews to understand business partner pain points
•    Partner with Procurement and 3rd party vendors as needed for new solutions and enhancements
•    Develop a roadmap by working with business partners.
•    Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research, industry research/best practices and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirements
•    Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions. Deliver presentations, facilitate, and address issues at all levels of management.
•    Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team’s long-term goals and strategy
•    Serve as product owner and lead agile or SDLC based project teams

•    Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholders
•    Foundational project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads

Education and Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields. 
•    Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Systems, experience in multiple areas of IT.
•    3+ years of experience managing regulatory applications such as Veeva Promomats that support advertising and promotional review business processes.
•    Proven ability to make sound decisions, build long-term strategic plans
•    Expertise / understand cloud technologies, preferably Veeva, Medidata, Oracle, Salesforce.
•    Work with third party, Worldwide Medical and Regulatory Leadership Teams and/or business partner when issues are found; manage issues to closure.
•    Knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning GxP applications.
