Overview

Responsible for the financial support for Bangalore R&D operations with annual spend of $50M. Operational support includes managing all Financial Planning & Analysis for all Baxter segments, decision support strategic analytics, as well as business partnership and prioritization of key R&D initiatives.

Responsibilities

1.Key finance partner for Financial Planning processes within the Bangalore R&D site

• Collaborate with R&D and Innovation (RDI) Managers to develop and input the Plan and Forecast financials for forecasts, plan, and long range plan
• Work with Global R&D Finance to align on the overall RDI budget at the site level
• Present the RDI budget to Senior leaders for approval
  

2.Prepare monthly P&L financial reporting and analytics to Bangalore R&D

• Prepare monthly P&L schedules for Bangalore R&D cost centers
• Analyze variances from Plan/Forecast and monthly trending
• Communicate to leaders any variances or key project insights
• Create adhoc presentations, reports, and analysis on various cost items and projections
  

3.Prepare monthly MCB reporting and analytics to Bangalore R&D and Segment Finance leadership

• Manage the financial processes related to Capex investments for the site
• Develop the Bangalore entity level Cash Flow forecast and working capital requirements for the site
  

​Qualifications

Bachelor in Commerce minimum, with 3 years of Finance experience preferably in FP&A
