Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating optimal, cost-effective projects and technologies. In addition to provide technical support and service to responsibilities areas, the incumbent may also perform the following functions: supervising, requisitioning, documenting, validating and trainings.

What You'll Bring:

• Perform process value analysis to prevent waste through the proce
• Provide support to implement and enhance the manufacturing monitoring system in terms of quality and output performance.
• Perform IQ & Software Validations and process changes driven by new ideas or improvement.
• Support Process & Product Validation’s.
• Provide new ideas to enhance products, improve machines performance and scrap reduction.
• Generate corrective actions as required to eliminate the root cause of scrap and quality issues.
• Provide technical training to machine operators and technicians.
• Develop automation projects and provide support during implementations.
• Establish a customer-supplier relationship with other manufacturing areas.
• Supervise machine operators, technicians, technologists, and group leaders.
• Coordinate with manufacturing areas preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate jobs related to Automation Department with Quality, Process & Product and Manufacturing personnel.
• Capital projects coordination & VIP project development.
• Interact and coordinate with contractor’s shutdown activities and projects.
• Performs routine engineering assignments, which are typically focused on small & medium projects. These tasks will provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, techniques, theories, corporate and divisional SOP's policies.
• Document development work, including writing specifications for manufacturing or scientific test results.
• 16. Ability to solve daily process & machines situations and engineering tasks with some assistance. Able to solve problems with periodic monitoring.
• Assists in the preparation and participation in technical reviews and responsible for organizing data and preparing appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
• Promote a zero-harm workplace, and assure that required EHS resources are available and that all applicable EHS practices and rules are being followed by supervised employees.
• Observe data privacy and confidentiality rules at all time.
• Improve technical group performance through teamwork and personal accountability; ensure we have the right talent and capabilities to achieve our business results.
• Support to all initiatives to improve Efficiency, Productivity and Reduce
• Conversion Loss & Downtime. 
• Equipment optimization and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and setup time.
• Support plant initiatives like: TPM, Tier Meetings, 6’s program, etc.
• Able to submit capital projects justifications for small projects. 
• Support during investigations, corrective & preventive actions implementation to response customers complains.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor Degree Engineering (BSSE BSME) and 0-2 years of experience in Engineering or related field required.
• Ability to discuss normally encountered technical or project management issues, both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member.  Ability to solve routine-design, engineering problems with assistance. 
• Able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) Required.

DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):

Medium Work:  Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
