What you'll be doing:

The Manager, Medical Information will join the Medical Information Centre of Excellence team and be responsible for supporting the management of all aspects of Medical Information provision in Western Europe. 

You will work with the Therapeutic Area leaders, performing medical review of advertising and promotional material and serving as a subject matter authority for the assigned product line/ therapeutic area(s).  You will have and develop subject matter knowledge of these products and the therapy associated with these products, acting as a source of expertise. 

You will provide guidance and lead projects on the transitioning of traditional communication methods to virtual/digital solutions and provide extensive project management expertise. In addition you will mentor and lead CoE team members in developing these skills, in order to take the Medical Information Centre of Excellence forward on its digital journey.

What you'll bring:

  • Fluent in English, German and French, other languages desirable

  • Strong knowledge and / or experience with Baxter products and competitive products essential.

  • Excellent medical/scientific writing and oral communication skills.          

  • Ability to search and summarize medical literature/data accurately and appropriately.

  • Excellent presentation and guiding skills.        

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to handle conflict situations as well as a demonstrated record of responsible actions.

  • Self-motivated with exceptional follow-through.

  • Extensive project management skills, including experience of transitioning from traditional communication to virtual/digital solutions.     

  • Minimum 10 years Medical Device / Pharmaceutical industry experience.
