Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform aseptic admixing activities (antibiotic batch, anesthetics, TPN, Narcotics, Chemotherapy) while ensuring full compliance with SOPs and applicable aseptic technique practices
- Perform and record validation and environmental and technique microbiological monitoring
Qualifications for this role
- Aseptic technique
- Antibiotics, TPN, Narcotic and Chemotherapy compounding principles
- Demonstrated ability to perform aseptic manipulations
- Must be available to work all shifts (including evenings, weekends and holidays)
Education and Experience
Successful completion of the PEBC evaluation exam or graduation from a CCAPP Accredited Technician Education Program
2 years of experience in Hospital Pharmacy or Industry
