Dispatch/Warehouse Controller

Reporting to the Procurement Specialist Lead, the Dispatch/Warehouse Operative will be responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks within a warehouse environment
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage the receipting of products & materials required by the compounding business, ie raw materials, consumables, ancillaries etc
  • Understand and use effectively Baxter Healthcare systems relevant to the role (ie Mild/JDE/Merlin/(Coupa))
  • Manage inventory to ensure efficient distribution to production in a timely manner.
  • Receiving, storing and distribution of products/materials for the compounding site
  • Unpacking and physically checking goods received from suppliers, whilst rejecting & reporting defective or damaged goods in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for controlled storage areas (Quarantine, On-hold & Reject) and work closely with internal stakeholders to keep clear and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining records in accordance with Baxter’s standard operating procedures
  • Support replenishment of production areas with stock from the warehouse
  • Experience in the use of mechanical handling equipment in order to receive and distribute products within the warehouse environment
  • Must demonstrate good housekeeping practices and procedures, being responsible for up to date documentation and computerised systems at all times.  Responsibility for warehouse area to be clean and tidy at the end of each day.
  • Cover (absence/holiday etc) relevant to the role to support Dublin Compounding at both Deansgrange and Sandyford Compounding sites.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP (corporate Good Manufacturing Practice), GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and any other policies and procedures required by Baxter Healthcare Corporation.
  • Any other tasks or activities required by the business deemed relevant to this role.
  • Co-ordinate and manage regular stock takes monthly/bi monthly/weekly capturing all products within the warehouse
  • Manage and co-ordinate despatch of finished goods on a daily basis
