This role is to become part of a team of Manufacturing Technicians where you will provide support for all aspects of the Cleanroom manufacturing environment having the ability to learn all production tasks complying fully with GMP and GDP requirements. You are responsible for batch documentation, machine set up, completing tasks from the manufacturing plan and transactions on the computerised ERP System with the ability to keep accurate records and reporting any issues or errors to the line supervisor / QA Team. This role involves working in a demanding but rewarding environment. The job holder will become part of a hard working cohesive team and will work to set targets, training and development requirements. They need to be able to work with a sense of urgency but must still show incredible attention to detail within the manufacturing facility.
Undertake tasks as allocated on the manufacturing plan including basic cleanroom maintenance checks.
Inform Senior Manufacturing Technician / Supervisor if allocated tasks are not completed.
Ensure own training record is kept up to date and Isotrain modules completed on time.
Ability to clearly communicate when conveying ideas and information both in writing and verbally.
Attend and participate in operations department meetings.
Participates in quality improvement and process waste elimination efforts by supporting continuous improvement ideas
To report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
Skills and Experience
Ideally Pharma, medical or science based experience with industry degree
H&S, Risk Assessments and COSHH important aspect onsite - Experience of adhering to legislative procedures
Excellent Attention to detail with the ability to follow processes
Essential: Literate and Numerate. PC Competency – Word and Excel.
