We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the European Supply chain organization, with a focus on UK Operations (55M) & regional Europe (incl BDCE WH(115M ).
This position will be a member of the EMEA section of the GLOBAL SC Finance team.
The jobholder will be supporting daily business and monthly financial closing (Accounting) as well as financial reporting and review processes in the different areas in SC Western Europe. also he / she will be also actively involved in Forecast and Budget processes.
The person will work closely with the members of the local and regional SC management team and liaise with the European Planning and Reporting CoE.
This is a full-time position. The candidate is expected to start in April 2018
Supports day to day business and partner with local stakeholders to enforce control guidelines / mechanisms for the expense base. This includes implementation and maintenance of a clean cost center structure that facilitates expense reporting and analysis using JDE / Cognos tool sets
e.g. JDE status reports / Review PO & invoices status / coordinate invoice processing / Freight costs allocation / master data new supplier / support supplier review meeting
support financial analysis on special projects (VIP, transformation) including Capex tracking
Month end :
Prepares / books / reviews general month-end close journal entries / accruals / chargeback
Monitor pre close results
Responsible for reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Prepares monthly CC reports to provide transparency and drive ownership
Responsible for monthly financial reporting and review process: plan and run reviews with various stakeholders e.g Day 3 pre close, day 5 Flash report, MOR and deep dive UKIN / OTH cluster
Coordinates the planning and forecasting processes, in charge of data consolidation and analysis, preparation of the presentation to EMEA OPS Senior Management
The ideal candidate will have a Business or Finance related university degree combined with previous experience > 1 year as FA / Controller gained in a multinational environment.

- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Demonstrated teamwork
Fluent English is essential; any other languages are beneficial
Excellent computer skills : JDE & Excel is a must , Hyperion and Cognos Skills would be highly regarded
Comfortable presenting financial information, able to interact with people from different functions and cultural backgrounds (culturally flexible), able to handle confidential data and to focus on detailed data / analysis as well as the “big picture”
