The Job
The Chemist position in Baxter plays an integral role for many departments in the Castlebar plant, as well as for the business global. The Chemistry team is responsible for ensuring that the product leaving the plant is of the impeccable standard Baxter is renowned for. This is a diverse and dynamic team where open communication and a collaboration are key to this team’s success. This is due to the time sensitive and company critical nature of the work the Chemistry Dept. are responsible for. This is a role with very good growth potential within the organization. Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Role Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all the required testing for the Chemistry Dept. is completed.
  • Generation of data and test record to high industry standard
  • Review of laboratory test data


  • Degree or Diploma in Science area.
  • Previous experience in a Chemistry Lab required.
  • Precise and detail oriented person.
  • Ability communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
