In this role you will be responsible for strategic Commercial Excellence Central Europe & Israel cluster. The job holder is a key member of the Cluster Leadership Team, partners directly with Cluster General Manager, and is the owner of Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness and Tender areas. The role drives value creation (=growth) by bringing strategies to execution with proper sales force effectiveness programs and ensuring the delivery of long-term financial targets.
Baxter has direct presence in Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Israel with an annual turnover of 135M USD. The region continues to grow organically and in-organically (via business model transformation such as distributor to direct, acquisitions, etc) which is a key aspect to the role. The role will manage a team of SFE Analysts, ICS Leads and Tender Specialists.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Active contribution to sales and marketing local strategic decisions that positively influence sales growth.
Analyzing and understanding the needs of marketing and sales teams and provide input to the local strategy, tactics and policy development for product management.
Carrying out collection of information and analysis of key indicators of sales, market and efficiency of the Company.
Suggests and participates in the implementation of changes aimed at improving the efficiency of the sales and marketing departments.
Contribution to LRP process with the Sales & Marketing leaders and review the commercial strategy and perform commercial analyses to assess current commercial performance of the business.
Help in defining full potential and setting targets in line with regional and local strategy and market dynamics.
QSOR’s implementation in countries with direct presence.
Responsibility for the tender strategy and operations, managing tender team and identifying quick wins and key improvement levers.
Price policy implementation and governance in coordination with CoE and price & tender directors.
Boost implementation and development of the tool.
Organizing the implementation and further tracking of the developed KPIs in the corporate CRM system.
Execution of initiatives for sustainable business improvement by activating leaders and enabling the broader organization to build new capabilities and work in new ways in action-oriented workshops with fieldwork to capture the value.
Accountability for several ad hoc projects within the business unit such a sales force effectiveness project, lead the management of a pricing initiative, etc. and supporting the sales &marketing managers.
Responsibility for sales force efficiency, commercial team efficiency, sales effectiveness, sales trainings, development of sales reporting tools to exceed sales targets and action plans.
Responsibility for SIP designing and providing Euro Elite results to ECEMEA team
Data privacy is the most important issues for the world and data privacy/email consent process is currently being switched on country by country. Also, he is responsible to complete this process.
Leadership on Digital Transformation Project across Central Europe & Israel with cooperation with ECEMEA
Overseeing and driving the work of ICS Team – influencing efficiency maximization in Integrated Care Solutions area across the Cluster
Preferable Marketing/Business Degree/MBA,
Ideally 10 years Global/Regional Sales and Marketing experience within specific Region preferred,
Travel: based on needs,
Extensive analytical skills,
Fluent English is a must,
Strong team player, demonstrating outstanding leadership and collaboration skills and is results-oriented in business environment,
Ability to work in multifunctional, cross-cultural, decentralized environment across multiple time zones,
