Inventory Analyst

Reporting to:

Lead, SC Inventory – EMEA


Supply Chain, Inventory


Responsible for EMEA owned Inventory reporting, forecasting and optimization (FG, RM & WIP).

Independently run analysis on inventory trends and KPI’s to assist the Director SC Planning - EMEA on strategic decision and Cash Flow optimization projects

Lead CIP projects for EMEA by continuously identify areas for improvement and helping define optimal targets according to product segmentation.

Manage and coordinate monthly financial reporting through regional EIOR, global MOR and Inventory Deep Dive the jobholder will be also actively involved in Forecast and Budget processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivers supply chain cash flow and service strategy through aligning supply and demand for the region

  • Work with Data & Analytics, tables or schemas that support cash flow improvement projects & processes.

  • Run Inventory Optimizer to define optimal safety stock levels for EMEA plants.

  • Responsible and accountable for EMEA Inventory planning process, including driving continuous improvement initiatives optimizing inventory turns, service levels, maximize profitability, and supporting dynamic changes in market conditions.

  • Active participation in annual Budget process and forecast cycles, with direct interaction with Senior Management

  • Preparation of Operating Review templates and Tableau dashboard used for month end and forecast cycles.

Qualifications and competencies:

  • 2 or more years of related experience in an international environment, including project management and coordination across multiple functions

  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving through fact-based analytics

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Operates proficiently in a team environment

  • Excellent technical system skills (Microsoft Office, ACCESS, Cognos, Tableau)

  • Good understanding of Financial Balance Sheet

  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills

  • Experience investigating data issues and working with a cross-functional team for problem resolution

Education and/or Experience:

University degree in supply chain management, business administration, Finance, or a related field.
