Summary:
The Supervisor, In-Bound Mortgage Sales is responsible for the overall mortgage production of the group as well as world-class service. The Supervisor will coordinate all sales and service activities relating to home loan products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the inbound mortgage sales origination process, including completion of applications, member follow-up, execution of the HA program, pipeline management and maintaining high service levels.
Oversees first mortgage origination functions within BCU including development of appropriate strategies to ensure the achievement of annual growth and member penetration goals. This includes:
Establishing monthly and annual sales goals for lending programs and cross sales.
Achieving established goals working with origination channels
Performs monthly call reviews to help develop and coach the reps and improve call quality. Works closely with the loan officers coaching and developing them to provide a high level of service and quality applications. Focuses on driving sales results by
Maintaining a competitive incentive program for the LO’s
Developing and launching internal sales contests
Prepares appropriate analysis and reporting of key origination results Responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to originating mortgage loans. (RESPA, TILA, Safe Act etc.)
Provides detailed new hire training on BCU culture, systems, products, services and all compliance pieces relating to originating a mortgage.
Successfully complete all required registrations or certifications as needed. Promotes team work and drives LO’s to support each other and the Operations dept and its staff. Focus’ on developing and growing leaders by creating a career path and guidance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mortgage sales or sales management
- 3 years of management experience preferred
- High level of product and loan structure knowledge within the mortgage industry and understanding.
- Effective leadership and coaching skills.
- Demonstrates analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Successful track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
