Your role at Baxter:

As a member of our Inside Sales team for the Advanced Surgery division, you will get to work closely with our field sales representatives; and nurture relationships with our clients to identify their needs and fulfil their sales requirements. You will have full ownership and accountability on a given business scope, with a primary responsibility of proactively prospecting new business opportunities, up-selling to existing customers and striving to exceed quarterly and annual targets while maximizing revenue opportunity across the respective.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Work closely with field sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

  • Remotely sell Baxter's products and retain end-user customers within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals

  • Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services

  • Provide input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the field sales representatives and other departments (Customer Service, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Pricing and Finance) in the planning and execution of sales activities

  • Provide on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up

  • Collaborate with tender & contract departments on managing large scale tender and / or contract sales cycle of your accounts

  • Deliver On-going product servicing by delivering accurate product information and forecasting and active supply chain management

  • Conduct regular Business Reviews with customers when applicable

  • Translate the results of your market insights into a clear prioritization of sales actions

  • Submit accurate weekly forecasts based on intelligent and realistic pipeline management along with any other reporting requirements, in conjunction with Baxter’s CRM

We are presently seeking people who have:

  • Bonus - A degree in science, technology, medical or business related subject preferred

  • Native Dutch speaker or assimilated, Fluency in English

  • Ideally previous remote sales experience - experience in the Medical Devices industry is a bonus!

  • Closing Sales experience

  • Proactive approach and resilient attitude in developing new prospects and closing deals

  • Strong presentation / communication skills over the phone

  • A flair for working with people and a passion for sales

  • The ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
