The primary purpose of this role is to run the production line in the safest highest quality and most efficient and effective way using provided manual handling equipment. The role is based on days and nights, 42 hours per week, 06:00-18:00-18:00-06:00.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements. This includes raise EHS observation cards
  • Operate within the Baxter documentation procedures (BaxU) and requirements meeting all safety quality and performance guidelines.
  • Role Identifies quality defects and rejects them. Escalate issues to the team leader
  • Role maintains optimum line performance throughout the shift ensuring all equipment is in full working order
  • Role performs daily and weekly cleaning of the equipment and the area
  • Role is actively involved in improvement programs and adopting new ways of working
  •  Role train others as required / identified by teamleader
  • Role holder must be able to perform the visual acuity and colour perception tests.
  • Role holder must be able to fulfill physical requirements needed to carry out job related tasks including meeting Performance and Quality requirements
  • Role requires incumbent to use Manual Handling Equipment eg FLT/EPT etc
  • Role supports/acts as Material Handler when required

Experience required

  • Team player but also able to work well independently
  • Strong work ethic and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Results orientated
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training is given
