We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to willing to join the team on a 1 year FTC basis and be operationally accountable for the EMEA planning and reporting activities of a specified supply chain network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the procurement planning, purchasing, inventory management of particular portfolio of finished goods.
Formulate & communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demand
Manage regional purchase orders and invoice approvals.
Collaborate with other Planners and Managers, Demand planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Shipping teams.
Proactively report supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate to Commercial and Regulatory teams.
Align transfer orders, for stock and samples, where appropriate and send to ERP system for execution
Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, close out, or decrease or orders where necessary
Monitor supply chain performance, review & support planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to achieving inventory targets
Support input to financial planning and forecasting processes
Supports Life-cycle Management e.g. New Product Launch, Phase in /Phase out etc.
At least 2 years of related experience
Demonstrable strategic level of operational and/or supply chain experience
Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively with people across many different functions
Outstanding communication skills required
Superior computer skills, particularly Excel, reading and creating reports and conducting analysis for business decisions
Demonstrates strategic thinking, influencing and change management skills
Knowledge of JDE or similar platform
6 Sigma green or black belt / Kinaxis Rapid Response knowledge would be considered an advantage
In-depth understanding of all aspects of end to end supply chain and how we interact with other functions
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes.
Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, verbally (face to face and virtual) and written
Capable of analysing and solving problems through innovative thought
Drives results with urgency and accountability, possessing solid financial and business acumen
