ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies technical problems, provides innovative, creative solutions; shares technical knowledge with team.
- Applies technical competencies and knowledge to solve problems of a routine nature, or improve upon exiting designs or processes.
- Incorporates business, market, industry and competitive knowledge into technical solutions that can be readily adapted to changes in technology and/or clinical use.
- Completes detailed, high quality technical documentation to capture and communicate designs.
- Seeks knowledge of the business, market, industry and competitive environment.
- Uses existing tools and best practices to report and track product and process metrics.
- Informs others proactively about developments or issues that affect their work, and their ability to meet commitments.
- Creates risk management files
- Support verification and validation results
- Seeks input from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree or above mechatronics, systems engineering, computer science or medical technology or a similar subject
- 5+ years of engineering experience as system engineer or in a comparable position.
- Several years of professional experience as a design, hardware or software engineer
- Requirements Management
- Experience in risk management and approval procedures for medical devices
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Technological competence in the fields of mechanics, electronics and software
- Ability to understand complex technical issues
- Knowledge of medical standards and norms
- Assertiveness, goal-oriented and structured way of working
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Good understanding of product design and development life cycle.
- Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving skills.
- Good English
- Adaptable to change
