In this role, you will work in the Machining Department, you will provide technical support on increasingly complex multifaceted CNC Equipment!
Strong analytical skills will allow you to resolve machine issues and perform real-time trouble shooting to resolve causes and recommend actions!
-With electro/mechanical expertise, this will aid you in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing malfunctions in Machines and components plus production equipment.
-Solving electrical problems, including repairing of components, equipment, and procedures will be crucial. Supporting continuous improvement efforts along with 5s. Primary responsibility will be the troubleshooting and repairing of production machines.
-This role will be involved in development of PMs methods, procedures and inspection requirements for equipment, as well as preventative maintenance and assist with floor support.
-Through establishing internal relationships with Engineering and Setup/Operators, you will exchange information, resolve real time issues, and help address longer term problems.
-Assist in the planning process for test and prototype design and/or have responsibility for complete projects in areas of your technical expertise.
-As a collaborative teammate, you will be capable of receiving initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from your production group leader, supervisor, manager or engineering.
-A crucial aspect of this position will be applying lean manufacturing and six sigma improvement processes to all projects and assignments.
-Associates degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
-2-4-year of experience in Machine Repair.
-Shown knowledge of relative tools and measuring devices such as multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
-Ability to read/build spreadsheets, etc.
-Ability to interact across departments, including third-party suppliers and services and are able to adapt to an evolving work environment.
-Ability to lift 40 lbs. Be on your feet 80%-90% of the time.
-Ability to work overtime as needed.
