Position Summary

  • Define governance structure, R&R
  • Establish data policies & Standards
  • Define data management tools with IT


  • Responsible for driving and implementing data strategy in alignment with corporate vision and strategy
  • Define and communicate data governance strategy across the organization
  • Accountable for defining data quality management techniques to measure and improve the quality of data
  • Oversee the definition of processes for monitoring, measuring, and reporting compliance with acceptable levels of data quality (completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness and accuracy)
  • Collaborates with the data services leads and IT leadership to establish data policies, processes, and standards including enforcement of data quality, security, and management concepts
  • Oversees the development of enforcement mechanisms for ensuring policies, processes, and standards are followed


  • 10+ years of experience in data management, business analytics & insights or a related field.
  • Strong ability to understand, interpret and apply data governance to improve data quality of the company.
  • Deep understanding of data governance and architecture principal.
  • Working knowledge of data management tools (eg. MDM, Meta data management, Data catalog, data quality management, data warehouse, etc)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
  • Consulting firm background is highly preferred
