The World Field Action Coordinator EMEA coordinates the Retrofits for a defined range of products in the EMEA region.


  • Creates the field action plan based on information from:
    • Serviceability review of proposed solution
    • RA, regional differences regarding rules and regulations
    • Reconcile current product locations and owners using the business system, number of products and where they are
    • RFAC (Regional Field action Coordinator), collect country plans, collate for presentation and approval by CFAC (Corporate Field Action Committee)
    • The production site, agree availability of parts and delivery / order schedule
  • Prepares a complete set of information which will be used by the market to communicate with the end-customer (incl. customer letter, affected products, timelines, etc.)
  • Coordinates and secures the availability of the spare parts
  • Provide routine updates to corporate field action committee.
  • Escalates issues impacting timely execution and propose solutions
  • Submit Safety information, reminder, and closure documents
  • Submit amendments or extension requests
  • Confirm the list of languages for translation of field safety notices/customer letters.
  • Submit reimbursement requests
  • Capture costs and coordinates the reimbursement of the costs between MOD executer and GBU finance teams
  • Evaluate and implement any additional training
  • Schedule meetings and timetables with relevant departments
  • Communicate the content of the field action plan to all Region leaders and local technicians
  • Maintain KPIs, manage the performance and escalate if required.
  • Maintain files in SAP and all related databases
  • Archive documents


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Project Management or other related fields
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in coordinating and planning technical field service work in the healthcare market would be preferred


  • Excellent English spoken & written is required (knowledge of French, Italian or German would be beneficial)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (including Power BI) is required
  • Basic knowledge of other IT applications - JDE, Cognos report, MS office, Agile
  • Organized, keeping records organized and updated.
  • Endurance, be the driver of the project all the way to closure.
  • Strong ability to convince others/drive for results
  • Logistic perspective, ability to coordinate several field actions simultaneously in an efficient way.
  • Understand the differences in regulatory demands and Hillrom-Baxter organization between the regions.
  • Continuous Improvement, ability to identify improvements and drive process changes to realize efficiency and standardization
