The Technical Account Manager will handle onsite management of Care Communications Solutions as outlined below. This position will work closely with the assigned hospital and Baxter teams to ensure high-level service to our users.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develops a deep understanding of technical architecture and product offerings in order to serve as the primary domain guide.

  • Assists other Baxter departments and resources with all aspects of groups deployment, including communication, coordination, and provisioning.

  • Provides customer support and technical issue resolution via onsite support, email, IM, phone and other electronic mediums.

  • Available for urgent critical issues.

  • Communicates with project collaborators and various groups to raise awareness of customer needs, requirements, concerns, and issues and follow through to resolution.

  • Knowledgeable of team Web Admin portal and are able to maintain and edit directory as agreed upon by the designated hospital.

  • Updates and maintains device management process for smartphones via Mobile Device Management (MDM) as defined in the contract.

  • Understands and communicates support processes and assists in solving issues.

  • Track and trend issues to institute process improvements where possible to reduce issue customer and partner concerns.

  • Develop, update, and deliver training for new employee orientation and provide continuous education to staff when needed.

  • Provides support and planning during upgrades and also completes proper testing/validation of new feature sets.

  • Primary responsibilities will be supporting an assigned location, but travel may be required to assist in other Baxter related projects and/or training opportunities. (Approximately 5%). First two months of training will require 80% travel.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience in healthcare or IT within a customer-facing role.

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and verbal skills and be able to work with frontline nursing, physicians and point of care support services staff.

  • Experience supporting and resolving computer hardware and software in healthcare, preferably with nursing point-of-care solutions.

  • Familiar with systems integration workflow capabilities, requirements and protocols.

  • General knowledge of wireless communication systems and protocols.

  • Dedicated and proactive in settling areas of need for increased efficiency.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
