The role – Compounding Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference and doing something that really matters. We are looking for great team players, positive attitude, flexible and adaptable. You’ll welcome coaching and feedback and are always looking at ways to further develop yourself as well as the service we offer.
We are currently seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our high-performing Compounding team at our Old Toongabbie facility on a casual basis, flexible to work Monday to Friday (with ad-hoc weekends) in any shift between 4am – 11pm. The main purpose of this position is to support the aseptic production process and ensure the requirements of the customers (hospital and homecare patients) and met in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Picking and Prepping of raw materials
Labelling, inspection and sealing of compounded products
Packing and Dispatching of compounded products
Other duties as required
What you will need:
Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
Be comfortable working with task-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
Can self-manage, organise tasks and work with minimal supervision
Be able to add value to an already diverse and dynamic team
Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Be able to use computer systems
Be able to work as part of a large team in a fast-paced production environment
Have good attention to detail
Experience in compounding, manufacturing or warehousing would be an advantage
