Are you passionate about Health & Safety and ensuring buildings and its services meet and maintain legal requirements? Based at our NDC facility on the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton, the EHS Coordinator will support the EHS Supervisor with the overall implementation of the EHS program at our facilities in Northampton, Cheadle and St. Albans.
Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Accident & Incident Management: Timely reporting of all incidents to Corporate and HSE when required.
Ensure compliance with thorough internal audits according to schedule following corrective and preventative action through to completion.
Documentation management: Review and ownership of appropriate SOPs for facilities and EHS, reviewing at least annually and update as needed.
Work with waste contractor and facilities contractor to champion waste reduction and other environmental initiatives
Ensure contractors including sub-contractors are managed according to the Baxter contractor management SOP for the sites with a register of all risk assessments
EHS Metrics: Monthly reporting of all EHS data on the Corporate Insite reporting system & compiling KPI’s
To be part of the UK EHS Team, working closely with other members of the Baxter EHS Personnel both in the UK & Europe.
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to at least NEBOSH General Certificate Level
Coordinator / advisor level with at least 3 years experience
Health & Safety (Environmental would be an advantage)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Personable nature and appearance
Good team player
Ability to learn quickly and identify relevant information
Ability to prioritise & plan to organise workload
Good influencing skills
Good time management skills
