Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a field based, Digital Health (DH) Specialist to join Baxter, as part of the Integrated Care Solutions team working alongside the UK wide commercial team for sales of One Baxter Digital Health Solutions. You will closely collaborate with Sales Representatives, Product Specialists, Technical Services and Account Managers to identify and respond to Digital Health related customer needs. Your main focus will be to Implement Digital Health Sales strategies to attain sales volume, customer growth, patient growth and customer satisfaction for the assigned therapies and / or medical products within own geographical area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participates to the territory action plan execution: co-visits customers together with the dedicated Sales Representatives, Product / Therapy Specialists and Key Account Managers, with focus on critical customer segment (Digital Health Solutions already in place and/or potential for growth by customer demand or through offering Baxter’s Digital Solutions)
  • Supports the sales process by positioning and clarifying the benefits of the Digital Health Solutions;  responds to technical questions related to connectivity and integration.
  • Supports the hospital IT assessment and connectivity needs identification process, identifies resource & cost requirements for execution.
  • May perform demo’s at hospital if required by the business.
  • Leverages the value of Digital Health Solutions: works closely with Contract/Tender Management to turn Digital Health Solutions service delivery to tangible tender specifications, assists to cost/value modelling.
  • Provides first line advice and involves SME’s as appropriate, with respect to the following areas:
  • EMR Systems incl. integration, standards & options e.g. middleware
  • Servers & Networks
  • Wi Fi Integration
  • Cyber Security Standards
  • Data Privacy
  • Provides local support to installation of Connectivity Solutions through coordination between hospital IT and technical personnel and Baxter Service Delivery and IT teams This support may include technical training. Resolves questions of a digital nature.
  • The Digital Health Specialist will also provide local support to any other questions related to Digital Health Solutions such as Data Privacy, by connecting with local IT, Service Delivery, local Data Privacy Officer, etc in case of required escalation.

Qualifications, Key Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with digital (health) end user applications, with solid understanding of technical requirements in servers & networks, cyber security standards, WIFI integration and connectivity, EMR (electronic medical records) including integration, standards and options such as middleware.
  • Commercial experience in selling digital solutions is a plus
  • Experience with implementation of end user applications or digital solutions (project management, change management, technical training etc).
  • Knowledge/experience of device communication/connectivity and standards such as HL7, FHIR
  • Knowledge/experience of Medical Device regulations: MDD/MDR
  • Knowledge about GDPR, local data privacy and patient data laws
  • Experience in developing comprehensive communication materials targeted at various levels of management as well as variety of audiences (hospital management, healthcare professionals)
  • Dedicated to help customers adopt digital solutions, champions new digital tools and solutions, identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately
