Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. Description:

The Sales Associate (SA) provides product in-service training for the Patient Support Systems portfolio (Smartbeds, surfaces & other medical devices) in a hospital setting to support product optimization. The SA also supports territory sales activities and assists with training new sales team members when needed. The SA ensures educational programs meet corporate and customer goals and acts as a liaison between the team and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly alongside sales team and customers

  • Participate in delivery/implementation planning activities (customer meetings, conference calls, WebEx training, etc.)

  • Assist in driving new sales opportunities while helping maintain existing business

  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation

  • Conduct negotiations and finalize sales

  • Oversee the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Two years of experience, preferably in sales

  • Exceptional communication skills and public speaking

  • High level of motivation, drive, resilience, commitment, and professionalism

  • Excellent influential skills

  • Ability to execute strong strategy plans, and to bring tasks to completion

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel up to 75%, with overnight regional travel expected, occasional National travel possible

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile
