Summary
The role of Manufacturing Engineer allows being an integral part of the production process, dealing with the production department and other functions such as quality assurance, R&D, finance…
You will manage activities autonomously but also work closely with colleagues of the Engineering dept and you’ll report to the Engineering Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysis of specific problems related to the modification, industrialization and production of single components, under mechanical assemblies and complex benches, defining appropriate solutions and collaborating with the other company technicians involved and with its own development team.
- Collaboration with the manager and other team members in the systemic analysis of modifications, industrialization and commissioning in the electrical / mechanical / hydraulic field and in the development of technical solutions.
- Collaboration with the validation technicians to carry out the reliability tests of components, sub-assemblies and complex benches through specific tests and experimental activities.
- Collaboration with production technicians for the improvement and maintenance of production processes.
- Analysis of the production’s software in order to propose improvement.
- Support the industrialization phase of the product / production process starting from the drafting of User Requirement / Detailed Design and following the activities of FAT, SAT, Review and validation.
- Assure the availability of the technical documentation relating to the design area, operating in accordance with the regulations and in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaboration with the MFG Engineering team for the realization of risk analysis (FMEA or HACCP).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree Engineering, better if in Electrical, IT, Automation or similar technical fields
- Experience in Software programming (LabVIEW and other software as TestStand, NI Veristand, Matlab, Python, C, C++,)
- Knowledge of PLC technology
- Previous experience as Engineer in a structured and multinational environment (better if in the medical sector)
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Team working attitude and result-oriented mindset
