We are currently looking for an experience Operations Lead (days) to work from our high performing plant in Wavertree Liverpool.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Management of safe systems of work in line with statutory regulations (LOTO, PTW)
Responsible for driving Zero Lost Time culture within Operations
Working with EHS to implement Baxter Safety program
Maintaining and reviewing Operational Risk / PUWER assessment
Raising Non-conformance using the CAPA process identifies the actual root cause and implements proper corrective action.
Working alongside Quality Rep, implement a culture of being audit ready through a robust auditing process
Reviewing and updating Operational SOPs
A vital member of the Operations Team delivering key operational objectives
Supporting shift-based teams to deliver SQCDME targets through Tier scorecard
The critical point of contact for Operational teams for escalation of operational issues
Support the continuous improvement journey through the deployment of the TPM Roadmap guided by the Baxter operating System People and Team
Leading practical problem-solving exercises, providing an actual root cause to prevent reoccurrence
Management of operational production planning processes, including weekly production planning
Responsible for using OEE data to focus on the opportunity to drive operational efficiency
The critical point of contact for shutdown planning
Support operations in identifying zero-based budget-saving (Productivity) and deliver project execution
Support and coach operational teams to unleash and deliver their full potential.
Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and quality functions to deliver vital operational objectives
Work with the Operations Manager to drive and deliver strategic focus areas for the LVP Site.
Deputize for Operations Manager when required
Represent the Operational team in the Weekly / Monthly meeting
Support in investigations and which may lead to potential disciplinary proceedings
Education and Experience
- Ability to gain the trust of Senior Stakeholders and employees to understand address their needs
- Work autonomously, to deliver under pressure, to deal with ambiguity, and to challenge at all levels to achieve the best outcome.
- It is solution-driven to deliver the business plan and people engagement priorities.
- Strong Analytical skills, comfortable with numbers, data, and systems
- Has excellent coaching capabilities and leads with emotional intelligence
- Experience managing in a pharma environment, spray drying process would be an advantage.
- Experienced in modern manufacturing principles and continuous improvement with demonstrable examples where you have reviewed, recommended, and implemented new processes and procedures.
