Your role at Baxter
As the Hemodialysis (HD) Clinical Trainer you are responsible for the delivery of education to clinical staff on in-centre Hemodialysis (ICHD)/Home Hemodialysis (HHD) products. You will provide supplemental informative in-services to Baxter customers and potential customers based on the needs of individual customers and regions.
This role provides subject matter expertise to external customers and internal team members. You get to work closely with the Clinical Educator in conducting product evaluation and implementations including conversion processes under the direction of the National Clinical Manager before, during and after product implementation. The HD Trainer will also provide post-support and follow-up hospital in-servicing as needed.
What you'll be doing
Develop expertise in all Baxter HD and HHD Renal Products including all clinical and IT tools/software associated with Baxter Renal HD & HHD Products and support new product launches
Organize and complete product evaluations (ARTIS and AK-98) pre-sale and clinician training post sale
In accordance with Baxter Solution Based Offerings, identify and resolve complex and/or unusual clinical situations either on-site, via phone or e-mail
Develop and maintain superior customer relationship with Social Workers, Physicians, RN’s, Pharmacists, Biomedical Technologists, Dietitian, and Administrative Employees
Conduct advanced product training on proprietary features of ARTIS, AK-98 & future equipment
Leverage current and future resources (i.e. E-Learning) to augment clinical educational needs of customers as applicable
Identify and report any product and practice related concerns or questions
What you'll bring
Registered Nurse; Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 5+ year's experience
Experience in Acute/Chronic in centre or home hemodialysis
Experience in teaching and working with Baxter products
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Bilingual - French/English
Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to take initiative

En tant que formateur clinique en hémodialyse (HD), vous êtes responsable de la prestation de la formation du personnel clinique sur les produits d’hémodialyse en centre (ICHD) / hémodialyse à domicile (HDD). Tirer parti des ressources actuelles et futures (c.-à-d. l’apprentissage en ligne) pour augmenter les besoins de formation clinique des clients, le cas échéant
Identifier et signaler toute préoccupation ou question liée au produit et à la pratique
Ce que vous apporterez
Infirmière autorisée; Baccalauréat ou équivalent avec plus de 5 ans d’expérience
Expérience en hémodialyse aiguë/chronique en entre ou à domicile
Expérience dans l’enseignement et le travail avec les produits Baxter
Connaissance avancée de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Capacité de voyager jusqu’à 50% du temps
Bilingue - français/anglais
Solides compétences organisationnelles, interpersonnelles et de présentation avec la capacité de prendre des initiatives
