  • Reporting into the Manager – APAC Treasury Management, the APAC Cash Management position serves as the foundation for the company’s daily cash movements as well as the key executor for a wide range of required Treasury activities on different cycles (monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad hoc) including, but not limited to the following:
    • Execute the entire range of cash movement transactions for countries managed by the team, supporting the complete range of Treasury activities (in house bank, intercompany loan movements, netting activities, cash funding movements, foreign exchange conversion, etc.) as needed to meet operational tempo of the company’s activities. 
    • Become familiar with local entity liquidity forecast to ensure the company properly positions cash around the region to meet obligations
    • Administer bank accounts, bank portals, and bank fee analysis to ensure a well-controlled and accurate APAC banking structure foundation supporting cash management excellence.
    • Work closely with Treasury and Accounting counterparts, as well as other Baxter Business Services (“BBS”) team members and Third-Party Service Providers to improve and streamline processes, rapidly assess, and resolve in a timely fashion any execution or reporting issues and ensure effective working communications and follow up.
    • Develop user skills and, over time, become a subject matter expert (SME) in the Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS), which allows for 100% automation of bank reporting and A/P, A/R reconciliation.  
    • Administer a wide range of process controls and reporting (Audit Records, SOX, FBAR, etc.) as needed to support Treasury requirements.  

      Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance preferred or related field (or country equivalent)
    • Familiarity with company financial reporting
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in APAC transitioning, a plus
    • Experience working with Treasury Management Software, a plus
    • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    • Strong technical aptitude and financial knowledge with a desire and ability for organization, detail, and accuracy
    • Good analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
    • Technical and financial knowledge including, business controls, data analysis, and general banking concepts
    • Working knowledge of PC applications (i.e., Excel/Word/Power Point) with the ability to present both written and spoken information clearly and effectively
