Critical Responsibilities
- Lead and execute IT, Privacy, Device Security, Operational and Integrated audits throughout Baxter’s international and domestic operations. Key influencer/contributor to the IT risk assessment process/development of the audit plan for varied engagements.
- Work collaboratively with the Corporate Audit team to proactively assess organizational IT risks and ensure effective audit coverage
- Identify control gaps and other areas of heightened risk exposure related to governance, risk management and internal controls within IT processes
- Proactively communicate with key stakeholders regarding audit status, findings and other relevant issues
- Frequent interaction with internal or external contacts, at various organizational levels, concerning ongoing operations or changes relating to quality and compliance processes or programs including leading sessions as the internal auditor
- Design and deliver presentations, with meaningful/achievable recommendations, for senior/executive management to mitigate identified risks
- Maintain comprehensive historical audit work paper documentation that fully supports reported audit results, leveraging established department tools and standards
- Coach and develop Audit team on existing/developing emerging IT risks
- Facilitate the annual enterprise risk management process across IT, Privacy and Device Security
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years progressive IT experience in a publicly-traded, risk-based environment
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: IT Infrastructure, ERP, Cloud Technologies, Cybersecurity
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Ability to travel 20-30%, including domestic and global travel
Preferred/Not Required
- Professional certification, e.g. CISA, CRISC, CIPM, CIPP, CISSP
- Ability to assess and audit in manufacturing and regulated environments
