Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

As a Territory Business Manager, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Like many sales organizations, our commission and incentive structures can vary from business to business. Often, we establish guarantees for new hires and will always be open and honest with you about expectations and fluctuations.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and grow business within a specified territory, supporting our ICS Team (Integrated Care Solutions) focused on our CRRT (continual renal replacement therapy) and hemodynamic monitoring product portfolio within the hospital ICU.
  • This is where your work directly supports products that help in improving clinical outcomes to better advise and guide clinical treatment decisions!
  • Drive sales of Baxter's proprietary technology for noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement therapy plus the related accessories to multiple hospital call points and end-users.
  • Successful execution of geographic sales plan for sustained growth and enhanced market penetration
  • Management of all aspects of the sales process, including identification and development of clinician champions, successful execution of product evaluations, generation of area sales analysis and forecasting, development and execution of sales funnel through proficiency in the “conceptual sales process”, preparation, negotiation and finalization of deals, and execution of all PO commitments
  • Assist with all aspects of the Company product and sales planning processes, marketing activities, sales tools and business strategies

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or 6+ years of medical device sales experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in meeting both customer needs, and corporate sales objectives
  • Prior experience selling CRRT and/or hemodynamic monitoring products including disposable and capital equipment, while also having an understanding of "Conceptual Selling" to physicians and hospitals is a critical care setting is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 75%; local and regional travel in designated territory, as well as occasional regional and national medical conferences and/or global meetings

We offer competitive base salary plus uncapped commission along with a company car. Our excellent healthcare benefits kick in day one.
