  • Baxter Services in the US & Canada currently generates over $100M in annual revenue, with double-digit growth expectations
  • Reporting to the Associate Director of Global Service Marketing, the Service Inside Sales Representative is a customer-facing role that promotes and sells the service portfolios to Baxter’s US accounts.
  • The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,000 + Bonus


  • Sells Baxter’s Service contracts to US customers both proactively (i.e. cold calling) and by the customer or sales representative requests or leads.
  • Creates quotations for Service Contracts and administers sales process from identification of candidates for contracts through contract sale and support.
  • Provide contract renewal information to existing customers. Foster and maintain customer relationships to facilitate growth with channel partners, such as the key account manager, field engineers, and the commercial sales team, assisting them to sell service contracts at different product life cycles.
  • Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Proactively approach new customers to pitch the value of Baxter service contract and sell the contracts to grow market share
  • Achieve team and individual quotas for Service Contract Orders and Sales.
  • Manage service contracts in Baxter system; ensure that all information is entered correctly and accurately in a timely manner. Ensure that all billing and invoices are correct.
  • Work with Regional Field Service Managers and Account managers to determine service strategies and service eligibility for specific customers and execute those strategies.
  • Work with field service engineers and field sales in the sale of service contracts; create quotations and close sales leads turned in by the field representatives. Track the deals closed by the field representatives and provide correct incentive payouts.
  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.

Experience & Education:

  • 4-5 Years’ experience in the related field
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with or similar CRM
  • Previous experience in a JDE and GSP environment is desired
  • Previous experience in the medical device or related industry
  • Proficient in reviewing, editing, and discussing legal terms and conditions
  • Experience using advanced negotiation techniques
  • Experience in Daily Management and Dashboard tracking
  • Bachelors' Degree is required
  • Strategic sales training certificate preferred
  • Medical device or software industry experience preferred
  • 4+ years of Service sales experience within the medical device industry preferred
