Senior Solutions Architect - Digital Innovation

The Digital Innovation Lab team at Baxter is seeking a technical Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and development of the digital platform which will support/integrate digital solutions for our patients and providers.
This role requires an individual that has a deep technical understanding of how digital products, platforms and ecosystems are built while keeping end user customer needs front and center in their thinking.
Previous experience with digital health or consumer digital products and their regulations is important.
Process and technical knowledge relating to security, storage, data management, and network security delivery within mobile and cloud development is imperative as well.
As a Digital Solutions Senior. Architect, you will be responsible for translating customer and business requirements for our digital products into technologies, systems, applications, and development tools.
This role is dedicated to the Digital Innovation Lab and reports to the Global Head of Enterprise Architecture.
Support and implement technology capabilities to strengthen and advance our Digital Innovation Lab technology capabilities
Provide technical expertise, oversee requirement collection, support internally commissioned projects and assist with client business development
Bring outside in perspectives to the company by exploring new technology trends to create blueprints and recommendations
Responsible for ensuring process compliance with the implementation of the digital product; partner with the Digital Innovation Lab Leader to coordinate product development
Provide knowledge-based and independent views on software and hardware decisions that will allow digital solutions to work together efficiently
Guide and advise the Digital Innovation Lab team on the impact of technology choices to build and extend existing digital platforms
Partner with the Digital Innovation Lab Leads, Scrum Masters, and counterparts across the company, including, but not limited to, Dev Ops, Infrastructure, and Security resources
Focus on business strategy to ensure that all technology decisions are based on the long-term strategic direction of the company
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in (preferred) Information Technology or Computer Science.
Fluency with technical architecture design and development at a large-scale enterprise or start-up
3 years of architecture experience, and 10 years of overall information technology experience, required
Prior experience with cloud solutions implementations and dev ops is a plus
Demonstrable familiarity with HL7 and FHIR
AWS CSA or equivalent preferred
TOGAF 9 Certification preferred
Experience with consumer/patient facing enterprise technology solutions
Hands on software development experience (preferably mobile app development)
Familiarity with the latest technology platforms including development platforms, analytics platforms, and app development platforms
Ability to guide and lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams
Ability to effectively communicate and work with senior leadership and clinical teams regarding technical design and recommended solutions
Skilled in building positive cross-functional relationships with stakeholders and business partners
An understanding of the health-care environment, and trends in health care technologies, is preferred
