As an Associate Director on our IDN team, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of Advanced Surgical products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. The Advanced Surgery Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Associate Director is responsible for driving the area contracting and growth strategy as set by the Area Sales Director (ASD) for assigned customers. You are responsible for driving incremental value, growth, and access to decisional customers (stakeholders) through self and others by applying deep product, clinical, and process excellence expertise while working in alignment with the ASD.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving sales growth at assigned customers in your region
- Developing value based solutions and relationships with clinical, financial, operational and other key decision makers including but not limited to, perioperative managers, value analysis teams, purchasing, pharmacy and medical surgical stakeholders
- Working with sales leadership to develop IDN growth strategies at assigned customers by negotiating contracts, developing solutions, and coordinating selling and other activities in alignment and as directed by the ASD
- Using internal and external tools and resources, and can develop and follow appropriate communication cadence
- Working with sales leadership to create and implement consistent quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that capture, document and improve the cumulative value of the relationship at the assigned customers
- Contributing to the RFP/RFI proposal strategy for customers and developing the win theme and build on previous success
- Insuring contracting, reporting, and compliance requirements are met
- Working autonomously to achieve established goals while proactively communicating with management and team members by adhering to the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) calls to share weekly priorities
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years minimum consultative and product sales experience in healthcare/medical device industry
- Ability to cover a region consisting of Chicago, St. Louis and Minneapolis
- Proven large account management experience with multiple clinical preference products, services and/or devices
- Possessing a track record of consistent sales objective achievement in a matrixed environment
- Proven and focused use of sales process and pipeline management
- At least 50% travel is required and may involve visits to conferences and remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $128,000 to $252,000 plus a commission target and an equity target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
