Job Scope:
The HR manager for Philippines supports both Canlubang manufacturing plant (headcount 160) and also oversee Philippines commercial organization (around 15 headcount). 
The HR manager is playing a critical role to design & deploy a flexible workforce model to ensure supply continuity and deliver cost-effective productions. Develops & execute HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and building of desired organizational culture and best place to work.

Job Descriptions:

  • Drive strategic HR programs and initiatives that will support Best to Place to Work goals and country business needs by providing Management expertise and support on:

    • Development of programs that will improve or sustain employee engagement, development, and retention

    • Facilitation of talent review and planning (TRP) and ensuring business have sufficient talent pipeline

    • Identification of learning and development needs and implementation of L&D plans

    • Enabling manager effectiveness thru coaching and promotion of A.C.E check-in

    • Establishment of communication channels that will promote Speak Up and effective cascade of relevant business and employee updates (i.e coffee chat, townhall, country kick-off)

    • Promotion of rewards and recognition initiatives

  • Provide support on talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning and hiring activities

  • Partner and coach people managers on Annual Compensation Review (ACR) and incentive design and program implementation

  • Partner with CoEs on the review of total rewards components and provide necessary recommendations

  • Guide leaders on employee relations matter and ensure the Company is compliant with labor laws/regulations and Ethics and Compliance policies

  • Provide leadership coaching and mentoring to frontline leaders and Management Team on people-related matters

  • Review and approve payroll process and ensure compliance to statutory and company-initiated pay and benefits policies.

  • Review HR policies and programs and update to align to business, people, and labor regulation needs

  • Provide HR representation and management consulting in all Country Leadership meetings and business discussions/review.

  • Lead change management initiatives for people-related matters such as on new leader assimilation program, business integration, and organizational structure changes

  • Partner and coordinate with internal stakeholders and regional/global CoEs for the implementation of HR systems, policies, and program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent.

  • Should have at least 6 years of HR experience that includes at least 2 years of generalist experience as HR business partner in healthcare manufacturing, R&D or High-tech background preferred

  • Strong influence skills and the ability to drive change.

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with management team and to coach and influence decision making of plant leaders.

  • Strong results orientation; History of delivering results.

  • Demonstrated ability to help define, translate and execute on an organization’s strategy.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict.
