VIE Contract from 1st of August 2022 to 1st of August 2024 (24 months)

Summary

You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems, resolve network issues, configure operating systems in physical and virtual environments, and run administration scripts (PowerShell).
As part of this role, you will also be the technical representative in small to medium sized projects, and participate in the validation of software and scientific lab instruments. You will be supporting software such as laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Acronis back-up solutions in both physical and virtual IT infrastructure (VMware, Citrix, AWS).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues

• Problem root cause analysis

• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams

• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time

• Document technical knowledge in the form of technical guide

• Support project team in small to medium project

• Write / Review / Execute - Validation Testing

• Support SharePoint for R&D business

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux (basic knowledge)

• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
