Bardy Diagnostics is an exciting, fast growing organization within Baxter with unique and compelling products looking for the right Systems and Business to help us achieve our mission.

Join a multi-skilled, dedicated, and talented team developing state-of-the-art wearable cardiac arrhythmia monitors and associated cloud-based software.  In this role, work in a small and dedicated team focused on the development of these products. 

The right person will be energized by the unique challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing medical device organization, by interesting complex technical problems, and have a desire for continuous improvement and design excellence.

We are searching for a Sr Systems and Business Analyst to join our development team. The Sr. Systems and Business Analyst will be responsible for technically leading software-centric projects of medium to high complexity and size. This role requires the ability to work with stakeholders to analyze business / user needs, extract requirements, and translate into technical specifications for development. The role will work with the development team to formulate solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to cybersecurity standards. To succeed in this role the candidate should have a natural analytical way of thinking, strong technical background in information systems, and be able to explain difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities

•    Collect requirements from various stakeholders and work with stakeholders and project managers in prioritization efforts
•    Develop and maintain architectural design and documentation
•    Develop and maintain cybersecurity risk modeling, risk analysis, and cybersecurity strategy
•    Provide frameworks for technical design and implementation
•    Provide team members guidance and feedback on technical work products
•    Assign, track, and follow-up on various development tasks within the technical team
•    Participate in performance, scaling, security, and defect triage
•    Bring to fruition practices and tools to improve development capacity and efficiency.
•    Support the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5+ years project leadership experience in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Knowledge of multiple SDLC methodologies, standards, procedures and organization that contribute to the development and deployment of technology solutions
  • Experience defining architecture and development standards
  • Experience with modern security standards and threat modeling
  • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills,
  • Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Healthcare and/or medical device experience
  • Working with offshore development resources
