The Software Product Manager will be responsible for product lifecycle management of the digital products in the BardyDx Portfolio, including web-based tools and mobile applications. The Software Product Manager will serve as Marketing representative and work closely with IT, UX/UI and Sales to explore, innovate, and create new products while also improving existing products.
Successful candidates will be capable of creatively rethinking and prioritizing approaches to current product challenges while ensuring the expansion of our platform in an efficient and scalable manner. This role will require ownership of market and user analysis, technical requirements gathering, roadmap management, and some aspects of go to market. The ideal candidate is motivated by the idea of helping both clinicians and patients by creating solutions in the digital health space. This role can be remote
What you'll be doing
Oversee portfolio of digital products (i.e. software platforms, apps) and manage the product life cycle from discovery and innovation, to new product planning, new product introduction, and post-launch product management.
Lead short and long term digital product strategy, road mapping and backlog grooming activities.
Proactively work with key stakeholders including IT, sales, clinical, finance, customer experience as well as external customers to discover and understand unmet needs, requirements and business and system issues, and accurately define and prioritize their business value.
Work closely together with IT to transfer market requirements into technical specifications to improve existing products and build new solutions and products that meet customer demands.
Drive core aspects of product launches via a cross functional team; manage go-to-market activities including validation testing, end user testing, creation of user manuals, release notes and orchestrate cross-functional training activities.
Assess product, technology and customer trends to drive new product development.
Maintain competitive market intelligence and understanding of workflows and functionality.
Build strong relationships with our customers and support sales efforts when needed.
What you'll bring
BA/BS Management Information Systems, Marketing/Business, Computer Science/Engineering and/or equivalent work experience minimum requirements for the role.
Minimum of 4+ years in digital product management, IT, and/or digital product development experience within the software, medical device, or healthcare IT industries.
Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong understanding of the software development life-cycle and best practices.
Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and maintaining software products.
Demonstrated success at driving vision and prioritization of products in a multifaceted environment using analytic and quantitative capabilities.
Experience testing and validating value of digital products in the market.
Proven project management and analytical skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of health IT / connected devices / apps/ hosted software environment a plus.
