The Role – Dialysis Registered Nurse

Baxter is seeking to recruit Permanent, Part-time/Full-Time as well as Casual Registered Nurses in our clinics based in Canberra. To Succeed in this role, you will have a strong clinical skill set in a hospital setting as a registered and trained Nurse. You will provide high quality patient focused nursing care to patients receiving haemodialysis treatment. This will include following established procedure and maintaining accurate record keeping as well as fostering professional relationships with both internal and external clients.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Registered with the Nurse’s Board / AHPRA

• Experience in dialysis is preferred but not essential

• 2 years post registration experience with exposure to Haemodialysis or critical care

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work within a team

• Strong knowledge of legislation that affects Nursing Practice  

• Reliable and strong work ethic

• Highly motivated to work in a continuous learning environment
