SUMMARY:

Lead Operational Excellence projects and planning, implementing and monitoring the actions of continuous improvement projects of VIP. Monitor, control and update metric of EMS. Planning and execute sessions of problem-solving using EMS culture. Promotes the standardization and improvement of current processes to improve quality and overall efficiency.

RESPONSABILITIES:

1. Works to identify manufacturing problems and respond to production requests for assistance. Use Project Management principles and fundamentals to all product and processes changes.

Implement appropriate process or manufacturing techniques as per project requests. Use Project Management principles and fundamentals to all product and processes changes.

2. Participate in the development of new processes or products from concept / design stages through introduction into manufacturing.Execute in process or product validations (FOC / COB) using Local resources with coordination with the different departments (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.). Execute continuous improvement strategies at Haina plant, promoting and deploying programs and project based on Enterprise Management System and Lean-Sigma, using innovative ideas to improve business results.

3. Follow up and control key daily indicator such as OEE, efficiency, conversion loss, etc.

5. Perform standard cost revision and improve utilization of our resources (line/machine layouts, direct and indirect labor, equipment, space) as required, using process improvement projects under supervision.

6. Establishment of accurate labor standards using time study.

Lead Capacity analysis and projects at manufacturing level:

7. Contributes to the Capacity Plans identifying Capacity requirements early enough to take account resource procurement lead times. Provides regular management reports, which include current usage of resources, trends and forecasts Implement major Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant VIP program.Interact with Divisional groups as well as other International facilities.Support ergonomics program activities:

8. Identify, evaluate, and recommend changes or improvements in operational process, procedures, and equipment and provide analysis to support these changes to ensure ergonomic compliance.

9. Assist users in understanding and establishing baseline performance and work ergonomic standards.

10. Develops meaningful alternative solutions to identified ergonomic problems and proposes practical design solutions specific to the worksite.

11. Ensure regulatory compliance of financial procedures, quality and safety standardsMeet regulatory commitments (EHS, GMP and others). Be knowledgeable of all the associated risks and environmental aspects of his/her area and support the identification of new risks.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Fully computer knowledge (MS package, MS Project)
  • (2-5) years of experience in related field required
  • Preferred Green Belt Certified or Lean related certifications
