Your Role at Vantive:

As a Global Product Transformation Office (PTO) Lead, you will be instrumental in the Product Transition program, managing a dedicated team of 9 full-time employees, coordinating, and monitoring the large volume of label changes, triggered by Evergreen. You and your team will oversee global product transitions and ensure timely, compliant execution, & will manage risks and mitigations.

The role includes also coordinating the associated activities with a cross-functional team and ensures Regulatory Affairs, Labeling, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and fulfilment can effectively work together from planning through execution.

Product Transition required a dedicated team, beyond just standard labelling operations, due to:

  • More than 2000 drugs and device SKUs, all requiring label changes, which equals 11,000 country code combinations that need to transition

  • There are multiple types of changes and multi-touch levels of changes when navigating the complex and varying regulatory requirements globally (Examples: Branding, GTIN, code, MDR, etc.)

  • There are downstream activities, PTO needs to tightly coordinate plant and warehouse capacities, supplier ability, manufacturing timing, etc.

  • Shared codes across multiple markets and optimizing timing of label changes to minimize the number of changes

The role will ensure no patients or customers are impacted in any markets where Vantive products are sold / distributed due to the Evergreen label transition process.

GPI – PTO which will drive end to end accountability of product transitions for Vantive

This role is being created to consolidate 2 major programs (PTO – Product Transformation Office and GPI Global Product Identification) under 1 leader as Ernst and Young external support is stepping out of the organization.

This is a governance structure provides the following benefits:

Singular point of accountability for end-to-end label and product transition activities under the PTO-GPI (Drugs, Devices) leads Synergized efforts at the regional and plant levels to consolidate meetings, highlight risks and solution issues Consolidated program management, data analytics, meeting structures to provide transparency and visibility across the board Smooth transition of EY support to Vantive team members

Your Team:

You will be part of a newly formed, growing team who supports Vantive’s mission to save and sustain lives through our talent. 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee combined global PTO and GPI efforts

  • Manage 9 Direct Reports including Regional Team Leads (UCAN, EMEA, APAC, LATAM) as well as the Global Drugs and Devices Leads

  • Work with 1 PMO full-time employee to provide support for 6 months to complete label planning after which role will be re-evaluated

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10 years or more of progressive leadership experience, including significant roles in supply chain operations, regulatory or labeling

  • Experience managing teams of direct reports, with a preference for global leadership experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field 

  • Experience in a global or multi-national corporation and/or experience in the healthcare (or related) industry

  • Strong influence in Supply Chain and cross functionally

  • Understanding of the greater PTO structure and cross-functional inputs

  • Ability to coach and grow employees to ensure Global Leads continue to pathways to success and areas of improvement

  • Experience with sponsoring/leading cross-functional projects with broad scope

  • Experience developing and implementing successful strategies that have positively impacted service, customer experience and/or business growth

  • Change management experience
