PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Purpose of the Position: This position at Baxter will be part of a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and acts as an extension of the Growth & Emerging Markets business teams. This role interacts with the GEM leadership team, finance team, as well as business partners within Clusters and Global FP&A. This position will support monthly performance reviews and quarterly forecast processes. annual budgeting and the long-range plan. In addition, it will support value-added business analytics, process improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives.
It will manage, coach, and guide a team of 2-3 Senior Financial Analysts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The FP&A Manager role is responsible for contributing to financial planning and reporting activities and providing strategic support for the regional teams. It will be responsible for the following activities:
- Act as a trusted business partner, leveraging financial and business expertise to drive strategic decisions.
- Lead, coach, and provide direction to a strong team of SFA.
- Lead areas of the comprehensive planning processes (long-range plan, forecasts, operating plan) and monthly financial reviews with senior leaders (President, CFO) and Global FP&A
- Perform ad hoc analysis and modeling for various financial initiatives.
- Performs variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make recommendations going forward.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with finance and business customers.
- Provide support to finance and fellow CoE members.
- Able to support hands-on activities such as Planning Information loads.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Administration, Accounting, or related, and a Chartered Accountant is preferred for this role
- 8+ years' experience in a similar position in Financial Planning
- English advance
