Job Scope:
- Responsible for achieving sales volume and product mix targets through delivering high performance sales execution. This involves effective accounts or territory management such as new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established own geographical territory area, limited industry or product line.
Job Descriptions:
- Achieving of sales quotas through sales of our Medical Products & Therapies (MPT) products.
- Prioritize selling activities via account/territory management which includes understanding of key decision makers, buying-influences and processes; prioritizing resource utilization through effective call-account planning
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of product, disease state and competitor to reflect the brand’s strength appropriately
- Keep abreast of current trends and best practice of therapeutic area, competitor activity to understand and meet maintain competitive positioning
- Coordinate and participate in major marketing initiatives e.g. exhibitions, symposiums, promotional campaigns etc.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of targeted customer interactions via salesforce
- Uncompromising commitment to adhering to Baxter’s Code of Conduct and promotes the Baxter Culture through positive, ongoing relationships and activities
- Increasing awareness and educating physicians on the proper use of our products on label surgical procedures as well as features and benefits of our products
- Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations
- Monitor sales against forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential for the territory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of medical device sales experience.
- Ability to manage territory/region with minimal supervision.
- Experience in tender management is added advantage
- Demonstrated a track record of consistent performance delivering high quality sales effort and target achievement
- Ability to conduct CME and product training to HCPs
- Ability to understand and adapt to changing business environment and has critical thinking and problem-solving approach.
- Passionate, energetic, self-motivated and results oriented individual who can also motivate others and foster teamwork across all functions and levels.
- Team player with a positive can-do work attitude.
- Creative problem solver who not only can identify issues but also come up with solutions.
- Operates in accordance with Baxter’s global business practice standards; understands and promotes compliance with Baxter policy and legal obligations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
