Your role at Baxter

As Senior Procurement Analyst for Segment Procurement, you will be supporting the MPT Business Division in the development and execution of procurement strategies for direct materials for MPT sites (Solutions, Devices, Advance Surgery) in your given geographical region. In this role you will be responsible for the management of projects, savings, spend and suppliers within this region while working in cross function teams, supporting all sites and countries in MPT. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to implement and execute the sourcing strategies, savings projects and procurement related functions.

What you'll be doing

• Perform in depth spend analysis and market analysis on targeted areas of spend.

• Support Direct Category Leads in the development and execution of annual saving plans.

• Develop RFI/RFP and lead negotiations for key spend areas to achieve short-term and long-term savings targets.

• Support and if required lead cross functional teams to successfully drive complex sourcing projects,

• Register the projects pipeline in the appropriate sourcing tools and provide regular reporting as to their status and expected benefits.

• Communicate in a professional and effective way with internal and external stakeholders (senior management and cross functional teams) to ensure the necessary buy-in for sourcing projects.

• Apply appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis and risk management techniques to solve issues.

• Support in the implementation of the defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers throughout the sites in MPT.

• Coordinate suppliers with manufacturing, Engineering, PDO, R&D, QA and RA et to ensure the projects execution readiness and delivery on target

• Generate regular reports for procurement concerning the status and development of savings projects under your responsibility.

• Drive effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and ethics in procurement standards.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s in business, Finance or Engineering

• Relevant experience (2-5 years) in Procurement

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – Portuguese is a plus.

• Very good command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI).
