Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Your role at Baxter!

The Distributor Lead is going to coordinate the efforts of various business units and functional areas within Caricam (MPT, PH, HST, Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Quality, AR, etc.) to achieve sales objectives (New Business with profitability in accordance with Baxter LAN guidelines) through the development and promotion of strategic business partners that allow access to the products that make up the Baxter portfolio.

What willyou be doing?

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets according to the budget by business line.
  • Develop distribution channels to achieve expansion and coverage in territories and strategic accounts through the marketing of various products.
  • Analyze the sales performance of each distribution channel, so that in conjunction with Sales and Marketing, commercial strategies are defined and implemented.
  • Define and establish, together with Marketing, strategic prices based on the marketing model (distributor, logistics operator, or others).
  • Lead commercial committee meetings to evaluate new distributors proposed as Commercial Partners.
  • Lead new contracts and ensure that current impact documentation is available from business partners: contracts, agreements, price agreements, audit records, regulatory accreditations, etc.

What you'll bring!

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Administration, or related fields.
  • 4-6 years of experience in handling distributors/customers in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of selling or promoting healthcare products and services in the private sector (medical devices, industrial products, or similar portfolios).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
