SUMMARY:
Senior Software Engineers participate in the software development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of software programs used in medical products and services.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Develop, enhance and maintain software programs used in medical products.
- Coding – Reads design specifications and implements the listed requirements.
- Unit Testing – Writes unit test applications to illustrate units are coded properly and writes unit tests results documents specifying the results.
- Works with the verification team – Must have the communication skills and be able to share responsibility with verification team members to develop solutions to observations made during the verification process.
- Performs Investigations – Conduct investigations as required.
- Works with management to write design requirements.
- Works with other departments to resolve issues found during development.
- Identifies and sets up proper testing/development equipment needed for product development.
- Provides training and technical support for service and marketing departments.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of programming experience.
- Possess advanced C/C++ or C# languages and object-oriented programming skills.
- Be fluent in English with good oral and written communication skills.
- Possess good listening skills.
- Be flexible and adaptable.
- Be a team player.
- Advanced or intermediate Office application skills.
- Possess the ability to manage time and prioritize work.
- Possesses knowledge of how to write software specification document.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on a cross-departmental team.
- Open to new ideas.
- Ability to learn new skills and concepts easily.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
