The Sales Specialist for PD Morocco is an experienced sales professional responsible for driving business growth in the Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) therapy segment across Morocco. The role entails building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals and PD centers, influencing their decision-making processes, and maximizing market opportunities.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for contract negotiations and ensuring the best outcomes for both the company and the patients. This role requires flexibility, frequent travel to client sites, and the ability to adjust the business plan to achieve sales targets. The successful candidate/ employee will also ensure alignment with Vantive global vision and values: Care, Trust, Innovate, and Own It, embedding these principles into every facet of the business.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide input to and implement the PD business plan for Morocco, aligning with regional and business unit strategies.
Achieve sales targets for PD therapies and meet or exceed financial objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations, including hospitals, dialysis centers, and procurement departments.
Drive customer satisfaction and ensure a patient-centric approach by identifying opportunities for new solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, business development, and distributor management to optimize sales performance.
Analyze account attractiveness, manage contract negotiations, bids, and tenders in line with business objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
Prepare and implement client visit plans, ensuring regular interactions with key stakeholders.
Submit timely reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and progress towards targets. Essential Criteria Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Business Management) is strongly preferred but not mandatory
Professional Qualifications:
Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Healthcare Management is an advantage
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in Life Science, Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry in sales roles.
Proven track record of successful sales role.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of the healthcare industry and PD therapies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and drive results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective at all levels of stakeholder engagement.
Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, including hospital decision-makers and procurement departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for sales analysis and reporting
Languages:
Fluency in English is & Arabic is mandatory.
French proficiency is preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or medical devices industry with a successful sales track record.
Familiarity with PD therapy and the healthcare landscape in Morocco.
Knowledge of distributor networks, tender processes, and key stakeholders in Morocco.
